EcoTower: Performative Porosities
Client interested in exploring ideas for a highly sustainable and iconic tower with full services for an elderly retirement community on Hainan Island off the southern coast of China.
  The project reinterprets the tower by engaging the ground using a cutting operation as a sustainable landscape strategy, creating a field of porosities in the building and disturbing them to register the skin’s performance environmentally and programmatically.
