Cellular Aggregation
As an exercise in an ongoing studio, previously modeled parametric “body plans” are now aggregated through the use of RhinoScript. These aggregations are also parametrically controlled through changes in bits of the script to respond to different outside conditions or modelled “attractors” that may simulate points of heat gain, prevailing windward faces, or critical moments in structure. This cellular aggregation study examines morphing of multiple cell types, as prompted by the shell patterns of the armadillo.
